Kathleen Hales Calvagna, graduate 1968

I remember having the best teachers a child could ever want. We learned art history in first grade. Ms. Miranda has us speaking spanish by the end of the year. Field trips to the museums.Miss Middleburg ( excuse my spelling) was getting married.

I left there after fourth grade much to my dismay. The friendships I made and still have to this day.

The school started an advanced class. The best education ever. Ms. Harrison, another great along with Ms. Lemon.

These teachers gave of themselves. Above and beyond. They taught us things that they loved along with the regular curriculum. I have never come across another school like P. S. 101.

The teachers and friends remain in my heart forever.
